What a romantic idea! We’d love to help facilitate that! Rev. Heather or someone from the Rowanwood Team can meet you at your favourite location in Niagara or you can take advantage of our location for your secret ceremony! You will have to have two witnesses over the age of eighteen and a marriage license, but aside from that, your secret is safe with us!

Your private ceremony can include one additional moment, be it a handfasting, sand ceremony or any of the other beautiful moments that mark your day! We do have a large private property here with several beautiful areas as well, the choice is yours.

For the adventurous destination wedding couples, Legal before you Leave takes the worry out of a destination officiant issue. Your legal wedding is performed here in Niagara Region and the legal paperwork is submitted. Then you can head of to your destination and enjoy the big day!For those who want to elope or quietly renew their vows, we can handle that as well. A low key ceremony at the location of your choice or on our farm property will have you quietly hitched in no time! Perhaps you are looking for an incredible, personalized, start to finish ceremony with meetings, rehearsals and every detail included? For that perfect celebration we offer the Rowanwood Signature Ceremony. Rev. Heather is a certified “Unboring Wedding Pro” completely qualified to take you from planning to pronouncement!

Basically, absolutely every last detail of your ceremony is carefully crafted (with your input) to ensure that it feels like the two of you. Other than the legalities required by the Marriage Act in the Province of Ontario, everything else is completely unique and personalized.

From our initial meeting for a coffee chat (to ensure we three have great chemistry) to scripts for your review, your rehearsal and your Big Day, everything to do with the verbal aspect of your ceremony is included.
